Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart gardening lately, and I thought I’d share my experience with the Tuya Zigbee Soil Tester. 
I’ve always been interested in automation, especially when it comes to taking care of my plants, so this seemed like a perfect fit!

Now, the real fun begins! The soil tester provides real-time data on moisture levels and temperature, which I’ve integrated into my Hubitat dashboard. I’ve set up notifications so I get alerts if the soil gets too dry or if the temperature drops too low. It’s been a game-changer for maintaining my plants’ health without constant manual checks.
However, I did notice something interesting. The soil moisture readings were a bit inconsistent at first. I reached out to the community for advice, and some members suggested giving it more time to gather data. They were right—after a week or so, the readings stabilized, and now everything works like a charm!
This project has been a fantastic learning experience. It’s amazing how much you can automate with the right devices and a bit of tinkering.
