Hi everyone, I’m currently exploring the possibility of integrating my Vera Edge with an older alarm system that’s not natively supported. I’ve managed to establish a serial connection via HyperTerminal on Windows, and I have a full list of command codes at my disposal. My main question is: can I program Vera Edge to communicate with this system using these codes? Additionally, I’ve also set up an IP connection, which might offer another avenue for integration. I’m really curious to hear if anyone has experience with similar setups or if they’ve successfully integrated Vera Edge with legacy systems using custom programming. Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated!
