Hey everyone, I’m really excited to share my journey into the world of Vera and home automation! After a long time with Vivint, I’ve decided to make the switch to Vera, but I’m looking for some guidance on how to set it up for central monitoring. My house already has Z-Wave window and door sensors that I’d love to keep using, and I’d like to integrate them seamlessly with Vera. I’ve heard that Vera is super flexible, but I’m not entirely sure how to go about setting up central monitoring. Does anyone have experience with this? I’d also love to add cameras and lighting controls, and eventually connect everything with Alexa. I’m really hoping to find a system that’s as user-friendly as Vivint but with more customization options. Any tips or recommendations would be amazing! I’m also curious about which security cameras would work best with Vera for excellent resolution. Thanks in advance for your help!
