I’ve been really enjoying my Vera Lite, especially its portable battery feature. It’s incredibly convenient for setting up devices on the go. However, I’ve been wondering about the best approach for integrating new devices. Should I always install the device first and then bring Vera to it, or is it better to take Vera to the device for inclusion and then position it? I’ve been doing the latter with motion and door sensors, and it’s worked smoothly so far. But for lights and power sockets, Vera has to be moved to them, which makes sense. I’d love to hear others’ experiences and tips on this setup process.
