Extracting Intent and Device: Using JSONPATH transformations, I parse the response to extract the intent (like “command_toggle”) and the device (e.g., “light”). This allows me to trigger the appropriate action in openHAB.

Challenges and Solutions: While this works for simple commands, scaling it to multiple devices and locations has been tricky. For instance, distinguishing between “bedroom light” and “kitchen light” requires more sophisticated parsing. I’m considering naming conventions or additional context to make this seamless.
