Hi everyone, I recently received some WeConn smart plugs as a gift and I’m excited to integrate them into my OpenHAB setup. While they come with a simple Alexa app, I’m curious if there’s a way to get them working seamlessly with OpenHAB without diving too deep into reverse engineering the WeConn app’s connections. I noticed that these plugs are also sold under the names Jinvoo or M.Way, which makes me think there might be a broader community interested in finding a solution.
I’ve already checked out the Edimax protocol and tried a script, but it didn’t work. The plugs only have one open port (10000/tcp), which limits my options. I’m hoping someone in the community has experience with these devices or knows of a binding that could make this integration smoother. If we can get this working, it would be fantastic since these plugs are affordable and widely available.
On a lighter note, I’ve been experimenting with different scenarios, like setting up a routine where the plugs turn on at sunset. It’s been a fun challenge, and I’m eager to see if the community can help me take it to the next level. Thanks in advance for any insights or tips you might have!
