One thing I’m exploring is how to set up a widget on my iOS home screen to toggle specific devices. From what I understand, creating a scene is the way to go, but I’m not quite sure how to trigger it without a ‘button’ trigger as seen in other systems. Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
Another area I’m curious about is virtual devices. It seems like they’re just IP-based devices, but I’d like to get a clearer understanding. Additionally, I’ve been trying to wrap my head around the variables panel in Fibaro. I can create variables, like ‘Alarm is armed,’ but I’m not sure how to tie them into actionable scenarios. If anyone has a step-by-step guide or example, that would be super helpful!
Lastly, I’m pondering over the alarm system integration. I’ve set up GPS zones, but I’m not sure if the alarm will automatically arm itself based on my location or if I need to create a separate scene for arming and disarming. This seems like a crucial feature for seamless home security, so I’d love to hear how others have tackled this.
