Hello everyone, I’ve been diving into some interesting challenges with my Wyze Cam setup and wanted to share my experiences while also seeking some advice. First off, I noticed that one of my Wyze Cam Pans was hitting a blocklisted IP address, specifically 108.62.57.36 on UDP port 10001. I checked this IP on Blocklist.DE and it seems flagged, which is a bit concerning. I’d love to hear if others have encountered similar issues or if this is a known legitimate address for Wyze devices. I’ve also noticed that my cameras are connecting to a few other IPs on the same port, so I’m curious if there’s a pattern or if this is standard behavior.
On another note, I’ve been working on installing a Wyze lock and have a few questions about the space requirements. The instructions mention needing some clearance next to the deadbolt, but I’m wondering how common it is for people to mount the keypad directly on the door if there’s limited space, especially with roof stucco nearby. I’ve attached a photo to give a better visual of my setup. Any tips or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
Lastly, I’ve been exploring the integration of Z-Wave devices with my OpenHAB setup. While I’ve managed to get most things working smoothly, I’m still a bit puzzled about how to effectively use decision tables for my rules. I’ve heard about DMN (Decision Model and Notation) but haven’t found a clear way to implement it within OpenHAB. If anyone has insights or resources on this, I’d be thrilled to learn more.
Thanks in advance for your help and insights! It’s always great to connect with the community and learn from each other’s experiences.
