Exploring Wyze Cam Pan Issues and Seeking Solutions

I’ve been a Wyze enthusiast for quite some time now, with a collection that spans across various devices. However, my recent experience with the Wyze Cam Pan has been less than ideal. After the latest firmware update, my Cam Pan stopped connecting, and I’m struggling to get it back online.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far: I’ve removed the camera from my network and attempted to re-add it multiple times. The setup process seems familiar—plugging it in, waiting for the yellow light to flash, and then showing it the QR code. But here’s the catch: as soon as the yellow light starts flashing, the camera begins its calibration turn, making it unresponsive to the QR code. Once it stops turning, the light turns solid yellow, and it’s no longer responsive. Relaunching the setup doesn’t help either.

I’ve reached out to Wyze support, but haven’t heard back yet. I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue and managed to resolve it. Could there be a hidden factory reset button I’m missing? Or perhaps a specific step in the setup process that I’m overlooking?
