Exploring Wyze Cam Plus Facial Recognition

Hey everyone! I just came across an interesting feature in the Wyze Cam Plus app that I wanted to share and get some thoughts on. I noticed in an ad that they’re now offering facial recognition capabilities in the Cam Plus Unlimited plan. At first, I was a bit skeptical about how this would work, but after diving into the settings, I found it to be pretty seamless.

I decided to give it a try and set it up for my home. The process was straightforward—just a few taps in the app, and it started recognizing my family members right away. It’s been great to see how it enhances security by distinguishing between family members and strangers. I also appreciate the notifications it sends when someone familiar is detected, which adds a layer of comfort knowing my home is being watched.

However, I did run into a small issue initially. The app didn’t seem to recognize my face consistently, and I had to adjust the lighting a bit to get it working properly. Once I figured that out, it worked like a charm. I’m curious to hear if others have had similar experiences or if there are tips to improve recognition accuracy.

This feature has definitely made me more confident in my home security setup. I’m excited to see how Wyze continues to develop their camera features. If anyone else has explored this or has tips, I’d love to hear about your experiences!
