As a new user of the Wyze Cam V3, I’ve been really impressed with its features, especially the motion detection and the built-in siren. However, I’ve been wondering if there’s a way to automatically trigger the siren when motion is detected. I know I can manually turn it on, but I’d love to set it up so that it activates automatically, especially for added security when I’m away from home.
I tried creating a trigger in the Wyze app, but unfortunately, the option to turn on the siren wasn’t available as an action. It would be fantastic if Wyze could add this functionality in a future update. In the meantime, I’d love to hear if anyone else has found a workaround or has any tips on how to achieve this!
Another thing I’m curious about is how the siren’s volume compares to other similar devices. I’d love to know if it’s loud enough to deter potential intruders. I’ve also been experimenting with the camera’s night vision and have been really pleased with how clear the footage is even in low-light conditions.
