I’ve been diving into the world of smart home devices lately, and I wanted to share some of my experiences and questions with the community. First off, I’ve been trying to set up my Wyze Pan Cam V3 in my car for surveillance purposes. I have an iPhone 12 with hotspot and a power source in my car, but I’m not entirely sure how to get the live feed working on my phone or laptop. If anyone has successfully done this, I’d love to hear about your setup and any tips you might have!
On another note, I’ve been exploring the Shelly Pro 3em device and its integration into my home automation system. I’m trying to set up proper energy monitoring, but I’ve noticed that the active energy measurements for each phase aren’t available individually—they only show the total. This is a bit of a hurdle for me since I’d like to monitor each phase separately. Has anyone else encountered this issue, or do you know of a workaround?
Lastly, I’ve been experimenting with the system binding in openHAB to monitor CPU usage. Unfortunately, I’m running into issues where the CPU channels aren’t showing up in the thing list, and the items I’ve created are returning null values. I’m using openHAB 2.5 on a Raspberry Pi 2 B. If anyone has successfully set this up or has any troubleshooting tips, I’d be grateful!
Overall, I’m really enjoying the journey of setting up my smart home, but these little challenges keep me on my toes. I’m excited to see how the community can help me overcome them!
