I recently purchased the Wyze Cam V3 with the intention of using its timelapse feature to document the growth cycle of my plants. While the concept of capturing time-lapse videos over several days seemed exciting, my experience has been less than ideal. After multiple attempts, the feature has only worked successfully once out of ten tries. Despite reaching out to support and following all suggested troubleshooting steps, the issue persists. Sometimes, the video appears in the album, but more often than not, it doesn’t. When it does, the resulting video is significantly shorter than expected, often only capturing a fraction of the intended duration. This inconsistency is frustrating, especially since I can’t restart the process with my plants. I’m curious to know if others have encountered similar issues and if there are any workarounds or solutions that could help improve this functionality. It’s a shame that a feature advertised as reliable doesn’t deliver as promised. I’m hopeful that Wyze will address these concerns in future updates. In the meantime, I’m exploring alternative methods to achieve the desired results, though it’s been quite time-consuming. Any insights or suggestions from the community would be greatly appreciated!
