I recently upgraded my Wyze Cam to the V3 model, and I must say, the starlight feature is absolutely stunning! The night sky captures are so vivid compared to my old V2 camera. It’s like having a mini observatory right in my backyard! If only Wyze could incorporate a full-frame sensor, I’d consider attaching it to my telescope for some serious stargazing. But for now, the V3 is more than enough for my needs. 
However, I’ve run into a bit of a snag with the Smart Detection feature. I noticed that toggling All Motion Events in the iOS app settings keeps reverting back to Smart Detection Events. I’ve tried everything from clearing the cache to restarting both the camera and my phone, but nothing seems to stick. I’m using an iPhone 13 with iOS 17.5.1 and the Wyze Cam V2 with firmware 4.9.9.3006. Does anyone have a solution for this? I’d really appreciate it if I could get all motion events recorded consistently.
On a lighter note, I’ve been experimenting with setting up my smart devices to create a seamless home automation experience. It’s been a fun challenge, and I can’t wait to see how much more I can integrate in the future. If anyone has tips or tricks, I’m all ears!
