I’ve been using the Wyze Cam V4 for monitoring my nocturnal animal’s enclosure. Initially, the camera performed exceptionally well, allowing me to access and download videos seamlessly. However, after a firmware update, I encountered an issue where the ‘Record’ function failed, displaying an error message: 'Recording failed with error: 'Recorded empty file. Deleted ‘’. This was quite frustrating, especially since I rely on the camera’s functionality. I reached out to Wyze support, who acknowledged the problem and assured me it would be fixed in an upcoming update. Unfortunately, despite several updates, the issue persists. I’m hopeful that the next update will resolve this, as I don’t want to switch brands just yet.
Govee Products: A Bright Addition to My Smart Home
On a more positive note, I’ve recently incorporated Govee devices into my smart home setup, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The Govee Home app has been a breeze to use, and the latest update, version 4.1.1, has introduced some much-needed bug fixes. I’ve also had the pleasure of participating in Govee’s survey for their new RGBICWW net lights, which I’m eagerly awaiting. The survey was a fun way to contribute to their product development, and I encourage everyone to participate!
