Hey everyone! I’ve been really impressed with the Wyze Cam Plus and its AI features, especially the person detection and event filtering. It’s been a game-changer for keeping an eye on my home while I’m away. However, I’ve noticed that the AI filter buttons in the Events view aren’t persistent. Every time I close the app, the filters reset, which is a bit frustrating. I’d love for Wyze to make this feature more user-friendly by saving the filter selections automatically.
On a different note, I’ve also been experimenting with Alexa’s new contact and motion sensor integration. It’s pretty cool how you can now use these sensors to trigger Alexa routines without relying on SmartThings. I’ve set up a simple routine where my lights turn on when the motion sensor detects movement in the kitchen. It’s working like a charm!
Another thing I’ve been thinking about is the outdoor Wyze Cam v2. It’s perfect for monitoring my pool area, but I wish there was an optional solar panel to keep it charged continuously. I’m planning to be away for an extended period, and having a reliable power source would give me peace of mind.
