Hey everyone, I’ve been using Wyze cameras for about five months now, and while they’ve been great for general surveillance, I’ve noticed an issue with motion detection events. Specifically, my camera is constantly recording non-essential events like shadows from clouds moving across my driveway. This is causing the cool-down period to reset frequently, which could potentially lead to missed detections of actual person events. I’m wondering if there’s a way to configure the camera to only record person detection events instead of all motion events. I’ve already tried adjusting the motion sensitivity to the lowest setting and defining a very specific detection zone, but the problem persists. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a workaround? I’d love to hear your thoughts or experiences!
