I’ve been using HomeKit before, but now I’m exploring Alexa for a second location, and lighting control is my main focus. I’ve got several Wyze plugs (2021 versions) and outdoor plugs, and I’m curious if they’ll work seamlessly with the Amazon Echo Dot (3rd or 4th gen).
From what I’ve gathered, Amazon and Wyze websites list support for the Show and Spot, but there’s no mention of the Echo Dot. I’m hoping someone in the community has successfully paired these devices or can provide some insights.
I’ve also heard about some authentication issues with the Arlo app on certain devices, which makes me a bit cautious. It’s reassuring to see that others have found solutions, like updating firmware or checking device compatibility. I wonder if there’s a similar workaround for Wyze and Echo Dot compatibility.
