Exploring Wyze Plug's DST Adjustment

I’ve been really impressed with how Wyze plugs have integrated into my smart home setup, but there’s one feature I’ve been curious about—adjusting for Daylight Saving Time (DST). I’ve noticed that some of my plugs at my vacation home aren’t updating their schedules automatically when DST changes, which is a bit of a hassle since no one is there to manually adjust them.

I’ve heard that some users have managed to get their plugs to adjust without needing to power cycle them, but I’m not entirely sure how that works. Does the plug rely on the hub’s time settings, or is there a specific feature within the Wyze app that handles DST adjustments? I’d love to hear from others who’ve successfully set this up or have any tips on how to make it work seamlessly.

It would be amazing if there was a way to automate this process, especially for devices in hard-to-reach locations. I’m also curious if others have encountered issues where the plug’s schedule shifts by an hour after a DST change, and how they’ve resolved it.

Looking forward to learning more about this and sharing experiences with the community! :sun_with_face:
