I recently came across the Wyze Watch and am really excited about its features, especially the health monitoring capabilities like pulse and blood oxygen levels. However, I have a bit of a dilemma. I’ve been using a NATO band with my Pebble Time smartwatch because it helps avoid skin irritation, but I’m not sure if it will work well with the Wyze Watch. The NATO band creates a barrier between the watch and my skin, which might interfere with the sensors. I need to find a solution that keeps my skin irritation-free while still allowing the Wyze Watch to function properly.
I’ve been looking into generic cloth bands as a potential replacement. They seem like a good alternative since they’re breathable and should make direct contact with my skin, which is essential for accurate readings. I found some options on eBay and similar sites, but I’m not sure about the width compatibility with the 47mm Wyze Watch. I reached out to the Wyze community to ask about the silicone band width, but I’m still waiting for a response.
In the meantime, I’ve been researching other users’ experiences with cloth bands and the Wyze Watch. It seems like some people have had success with certain brands, but there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. I’m also considering whether the Wyze Watch requires direct skin contact for all its sensors or if there’s a workaround for using a barrier like the NATO band.
I’d love to hear from anyone who has tried using a cloth band with the Wyze Watch. What width works best? Have you noticed any issues with sensor accuracy? Any recommendations would be incredibly helpful as I prepare to receive my Wyze Watch and want to make sure I’m ready to use it right out of the box. Thanks in advance for your insights!
