Hey everyone, I wanted to share something really cool I discovered recently with Wyze cameras and IFTTT. I’ve been using Wyze cameras for a while now, and while they’re great on their own, integrating them with IFTTT adds a whole new level of convenience and automation.
So, here’s what I did: I set up IFTTT to notify me via phone call whenever one of my Wyze devices is activated. It’s surprisingly simple! You just search for Wyze in the This section and select the action you want to monitor. Then, in the That section, you search for Phone Call and enter your contact number. IFTTT sends a verification code to ensure it’s the right number, and voilà, you’re all set!
The best part is, the call comes through almost instantly, letting me know exactly which device was triggered and at what time. It’s been incredibly helpful for monitoring my home while I’m away or just keeping track of daily activities.
