Exploring Xiaomi Gateway and Nuki Door Sensor Integration

Hi everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart home devices and wanted to share my experiences and some questions I’ve come across. I recently purchased a Xiaomi Gateway v3 in Hong Kong and have been trying to integrate it with my Home Assistant setup. I managed to retrieve a MIIO token, but it’s not in the expected format for HA. Does anyone know if it’s possible to use this token directly with the MIIO protocol in HA? I’ve successfully controlled my Air Purifier this way, so it would be great to extend this to the gateway as well.

On another note, I recently got the Nuki 3.0 Pro door sensor, and while it’s worked well, I’ve noticed some issues with the tamper warning. During colder weather, the sensor seems to lift slightly, triggering the warning. I’ve managed to fix it by adding a small piece of wood, but I’m curious about the exact pin pressure needed to avoid this issue. Is there a way to disable the tamper warning altogether?

I’d love to hear from others who’ve successfully integrated these devices or have tips on optimizing their performance. Let’s keep the conversation going and help each other make the most of our smart home setups! :rocket:
