Exploring Xiaomi Mi IO Integration with OpenHAB

Hello everyone, I recently became the proud owner of the ROIDMI EVE vacuum cleaner and decided to integrate it into my OpenHAB setup using the Xiaomi Mi IO binding. While extracting the token and setting it up was a bit of a hassle, I managed to get the basic commands like start and stop working. However, I’m still figuring out how to program specific cleaning areas. I found some helpful resources in the OpenHAB addons repository, but I’m not entirely sure how to proceed further.
