Home Assistant Automation
- Automating routines based on time or sensor data has been a game-changer. For example, I set up my lights to dim gradually in the evening using a simple automation rule. It’s amazing how much it enhances the ambiance!
Challenges and Questions
While I’ve had a lot of success, there are still a few things I’m puzzling over:
- Z-Wave Network Stability: After adding a few new devices, my network became unresponsive. I tried a network repair, but the issue persisted. Any advice on troubleshooting this?
- Device Compatibility: Not all Z-Wave devices play nicely together. I’d love to hear about others’ experiences with different brands and how they ensure compatibility.
