Hey everyone, I’m diving into the world of Z-Wave devices and trying to piece together a seamless setup. I’ve recently acquired the Aeotec Z-Wave Plus Home Energy Monitor Gen5 and am curious about its compatibility with my Nortek GoControl HUSZB-1 controller. From what I gather, the compatibility list is a bit confusing, and my device isn’t explicitly mentioned. Has anyone successfully paired these two? I’d love to avoid cluttering my setup with multiple controllers if possible!
On another note, I’m experimenting with automations using my Z-Wave door sensor and a GE Enbrighten smart light switch. The goal is to have the lights turn on at sunset, stay on for 10 minutes, and then shut off automatically. It worked briefly, but now it’s inconsistent. Any tips on troubleshooting this would be amazing!
I’m also exploring custom layouts for my Home Assistant dashboard. Creating a grid that perfectly aligns my cards is proving to be a bit of a puzzle. If anyone has successfully designed a multi-row, multi-column layout, I’d appreciate any advice or resources you could share.
Lastly, I’m curious about others’ experiences with Z-Wave device discovery. I recently added a Climax Z-Wave SmartPlug, and while it’s detected, the full functionality isn’t recognized. Any insights or workarounds for this would be invaluable.
