First, I’m trying to set up my DSC alarm system, but I’ve noticed that it only arms in Away mode. I’ve checked the programming guide, but I’m not sure if I missed something. I only have window/door sensors, so I’m wondering if that’s limiting the arm modes. Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have tips on how to enable Stay mode?
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with Z-Wave devices, specifically the Aeotec microswitch G2 controlling my garage lights. It’s been working well except for a peculiar issue: when the lights are turned off via motion control automation, the frontend status doesn’t update. The switch physically turns off, but the display remains ‘On’. Manually toggling the switch causes a brief flicker before settling, which is a bit confusing. I’ve checked the logs and noticed some warnings about unexpected message sends, but I’m not sure if they’re related. Any insights or troubleshooting steps would be appreciated!
Lastly, I wanted to share a success story. I recently integrated my Sonoff Zigbee Bridge with Home Assistant and managed to pair an Aquara door sensor. It’s fantastic to see both battery and magnet status in the frontend. However, when pairing the Aquara wireless switch (WXG02LM), I only see the battery entity. I was expecting additional entities like Link quality and Action. Has anyone successfully configured this switch to display all entities? Any advice would be helpful!
