Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of Zigbee with my Aqara Wireless Switch and Openhab setup. It’s been an exciting journey, but I’ve hit a snag that I’m hoping you can help me with.
I successfully paired my Aqara Switch with Openhab using the Zigbee binding. The device shows up in PaperUI, and it’s ONLINE, which is great. However, the switch channel is stuck in the ON position from the moment it was discovered. When I press the switch, nothing changes. If I manually toggle it OFF in PaperUI and then press the switch, it flips back to ON.
Most people I’ve seen online are using the Xiaomi Home binding with the Xiaomi Gateway, so I haven’t found a solution for my setup. I’m wondering if there’s a configuration step I’m missing or if there’s a workaround for using the Zigbee binding instead of the Xiaomi one.
If anyone has experience with this or knows of a fix, I’d really appreciate the insight! It’d be awesome to get this sorted so I can fully integrate my Aqara Switch into my smart home setup.
