Hello everyone, I’m diving into the world of ZigBee with the CC2530 chip and wanted to share some insights and questions I’ve encountered along the way. If anyone has practical code examples or libraries for Keil or IAR for 8051, I’d be incredibly grateful! It’s been a bit of a challenge finding the right resources, but I’m determined to crack this for my graduate project. Seeing how others have implemented solutions would be such a huge help.
Switching gears, I’ve also been experimenting with automations in Home Assistant. One thing I’m curious about is how others handle time-based routines, especially when the internal clock of the hub isn’t always reliable. I’ve heard of using external Zigbee devices to provide accurate time, but I’m not sure which ones would work best. Any recommendations or experiences to share would be fantastic!
On another note, I’ve managed to integrate my Brennestuhl sockets with Pilight, but getting them to work seamlessly with Home Assistant has been a bit of a puzzle. I’ve got the basic commands down, but the integration isn’t quite there yet. If anyone has tips or tricks for getting Pilight devices to play nice with Home Assistant, I’d love to hear them!
Lastly, I wanted to highlight how impressive the Units of Measurement feature in OpenHAB is. It’s been incredibly useful for my projects, and I’m curious what units others would like to see added to the list. Whether it’s pressure, temperature, or something else, your suggestions could really enhance this feature for everyone.
