Hi everyone, I’m really excited to dive into the world of Zigbee and smart home integration! I’ve been exploring ways to expand my smart home setup without breaking the bank, and I stumbled upon an interesting question: Can non-Wiser Zigbee devices act as repeaters for Wiser?
I’ve been using Wiser plugs for a while now, but they’re quite pricey, and honestly, I don’t need all the features they offer. I came across some second-hand Tradfri, Sengled, and Smartthings Zigbee plugs, and I’m wondering if they can serve as reliable repeaters. If they can, it would be a cost-effective solution for my setup.
I’ve also been looking into setting up Home Assistant to manage my devices more efficiently. It seems like a great platform for integrating different Zigbee devices, but I’m still a bit overwhelmed by the setup process. If anyone has tips or experiences to share about using non-Wiser repeaters or setting up Home Assistant, I’d love to hear them!
On a lighter note, I’ve been experimenting with some DIY projects using Govee products. Their lighting solutions are amazing, and I’ve managed to create some really cool setups. It’s been a fun way to customize my space while learning more about smart home tech.
