Exploring Zigbee Integration Challenges and Seeking Advice

Hey everyone! I’m diving into the world of Zigbee devices and have been experimenting with integrating them into my smart home setup. It’s been an exciting journey, but I’ve hit a few bumps along the way. :dark_sunglasses:

One of the main challenges I’m facing is getting my Zigbee devices to work seamlessly with both Philips Hue and Homey Bridge. I’ve tried connecting a Zigbee plug to both systems, but it seems like it’s a case of either/or. When it’s paired with Hue, it doesn’t show up in the Homey app, and vice versa. This is a bit frustrating because I want to leverage the best of both ecosystems. Has anyone found a workaround for this? I’d love to hear your experiences and tips!

Another issue I came across is with scene restrictions in Hubitat. I set up two scenes with opposite switch values, expecting only one to activate based on the switch state. However, both scenes end up triggering, which defeats the purpose. I’ve tried recreating the scenes and checking the logs, but the problem persists. Am I missing something obvious here? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

On a lighter note, I’ve been impressed by how integrating smart devices has transformed my daily routine. From automating lights to managing thermostats, it’s been a game-changer. I’m curious to know how others have creatively used their smart home setups to enhance their lives. Drop your favorite hacks in the comments below! :bulb:

Thanks for reading, and I look forward to your insights and suggestions. Happy smart home tinkering! :rocket:
