I’m a relatively new member to the world of home automation and I’m absolutely thrilled to dive into this amazing community. I’ve been experimenting with integrating multiple Zigbee devices into my smart home setup using Homey, and I must say, it’s been a fascinating journey!
However, as I expanded my network, I started noticing some hiccups, especially with devices that are further away from the hub. They occasionally drop off or take a while to respond. I’ve read that this could be due to the mesh network not being as optimized as it could be. I’m curious to know if anyone has successfully tweaked their Zigbee network to improve performance without adding more repeaters.
I’ve heard about tools like Z-Way that offer expert-level diagnostics and optimizations, which makes me wonder—what are the best practices for maintaining a robust Zigbee mesh? Are there specific devices or configurations that can help push the network’s efficiency to the next level?
