Extending Smart Lighting Automation Beyond 59 Minutes

I’ve been really impressed with how my smart lights can turn on or off based on sunrise and sunset times. It’s such a convenient way to manage outdoor lighting without having to think about it. My setup uses smart plugs and smart switches, all controlled by rules in my home automation system. I love the flexibility it offers, but I’m curious if there’s a way to extend the automation beyond the standard 59-minute window. Right now, I can set my lights to turn on 59 minutes before sunrise or after sunset, but I’d love to have them stay on a bit longer in the evening or come on earlier in the morning. I’ve heard that custom time settings can be tied to sunrise and sunset, but I’m not sure how to implement that without creating a separate rule for each device. Has anyone found a clever workaround or a more streamlined approach to achieve this? I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences!
