EZLO Plus Firmware Update and Device Integration

I’ve been really enjoying my EZLO Plus controller as part of my smart home setup. It’s been a great addition to Vera, and I’ve been able to integrate a lot of devices seamlessly. However, I ran into a bit of a snag when trying to update the firmware on my EZLO Plus. On my Vera, I could easily check for the latest firmware and updates, but I couldn’t find a place in the EZLO Plus controller itself to do the same. Am I missing something here?

I also came across the new “Device Integration” feature, which seems promising, but I’m curious if it’s automatic or if firmware updates are required for it to work properly. This brings me back to my initial issue with finding the firmware update option on the EZLO Plus.

After some research and reaching out to the community, I found out that EZLO Plus does support firmware updates, but it’s not as straightforward as Vera. I had to manually download the firmware from their website and use the EZLO app to update it. It was a bit of a hassle, but once I got it sorted, the update went smoothly.

Now that the firmware is up to date, I’ve noticed improved performance and some new features that make device integration even easier. I’ve been able to connect a few more devices without any issues, and the integration process feels more seamless.

If anyone else is struggling with firmware updates or device integration on their EZLO Plus, I’d recommend checking the official EZLO website for the latest firmware and following their instructions carefully. It’s also been really helpful to have this community to turn to for advice and troubleshooting tips.

Overall, I’m really happy with how EZLO Plus has enhanced my smart home setup, and I’m looking forward to exploring even more features and integrations in the future!
