Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the recent EZLogic update, version 1.57.1, which was released for Ezlo Hubs. I’ve been using EZLogic for a while now, and I must say, this update has brought some much-needed improvements to the way Z-Wave associations are handled.
I recently updated my system and noticed a new feature in the settings section: Z-Wave Associations. This feature allows you to view not only the device associations but also the controller associations. At first glance, it seemed a bit technical, but after diving in, I realized how useful it could be for troubleshooting.
One thing I found particularly helpful was the clarification on devices that support only a single Z-Wave association at a time. The update explains that in such cases, the device’s connection to the controller takes precedence, and additional associations cannot be created. This was a bit confusing at first, but the updated interface made it easier to understand and manage.
I also noticed some minor fixes and improvements in the update, such as the correction of device settings pages for plugins with missing info and the hiding of unsupported features like the “keep this backup” toggle. These tweaks, while small, make the overall user experience much smoother.
If you’re someone who’s been dealing with Z-Wave association issues or just looking to optimize your EZLogic setup, I highly recommend checking out the latest update. The community forums have been a great resource for tips and tricks, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you run into any issues!
