My Aqara Humidity Sensor has drifted to 4% away from a calibrated sensor (see attached). There should be a way in the software to re-calibrate the humidity.
Hello, what sensor, please write the type.
Hello @fcthornton
If you compare the readings of the sensors from different manufacturers, they can give out different indications depending on the frequency of the sensors and the frequency of changing the readings in the application, another manufacturers use different sensors for measuring temperature. If you use a zigbee temperature sensor without a screen or T1, there is no colibation in the application and add it to the factory settings and add it to the application again or again or again or again or again Replace the battery with it - perhaps it is already discharged and the device may not work correctly.
If you use W100 in the settings, you can change the frequency of changing the readings and configure the sensor properly.

Good afternoon, I want to disappoint you. This type of sensor does not provide for calibration. Also note that this Aqara sensor performs measurements according to the following algorithm.
-
Periodic transmission: approximately every 55–60 minutes, the sensor sends a report, even if the indicators have not changed.
-
When the indicators change:
-temperature: when changing by ≈ 0.5 °C
-humidity: when changing by ≈ 6% relative humidity.
Based on these parameters (6%), you need to make a comparison at the time of data transmission (find the moment when this transmission will be). Also, this type of sensor is not a professional thermometer (hygrometer) and is not subject to metrological verification by authorized bodies.
Other Aqara devices used to monitor and control room heating (W500) have a corresponding temperature control parameter.
That’s disappointing and honestly unacceptable. Even a cheap analog hygrometer is +/- 1% with the ability for recalibration. Aqara should be ashamed to sell such a worthless piece of hardware.
Hello, your humidity changes dynamically, with what intensity over time?
I have two dozen such sensors, they show humidity relatively normally, I compared them with the W100.
