I wanted to share a fun story about how my Wyze camera and some clever automation turned Christmas Eve into something truly magical for my kids.
Earlier this year, I installed a Wyze camera on our fireplace mantel. It’s been a great way to keep an eye on things while I’m away, but I never expected it to capture something so magical. On Christmas Eve, the camera caught something truly special—Santa Clause himself! 
The kids were absolutely blown away when I showed them the footage. It was a moment they’ll never forget!
This experience got me thinking about how smart home tech can enhance the festive spirit. I decided to create a simple automation using my Wyze bulbs to add some extra magic to our home. I programmed them to flicker like a real fire, creating a cozy, festive ambiance in the living room. The kids loved it so much they begged me to keep it running all winter long!
