The holiday season is the perfect time to get creative with smart home devices! This year, I decided to combine my Govee Aura lamps with Philips Hue spotlights to create a festive lighting display. I’ve always been impressed by how customizable the Govee lamps are, and adding the Philips Hue spots really took it to the next level. The integration with my HomeyPro has been seamless, allowing me to automate the entire setup based on motion detection and time of day. Motion sensors from Philips Hue detect activity in the living room, and if the Lux value drops below 10lx between 6 AM and 11 PM, the lights automatically adjust. After 2 minutes of no movement, they dim to 25% before turning off completely. It’s been a joy to watch the lights adapt to our daily routines, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The combination of RGB effects from the Govee lamps and the precise dimming from the Hue spots has truly elevated our holiday decorations. I’m excited to see how this setup evolves in the future!
