Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent success in integrating a Fibaro switch with a Novoport motor for my garage door automation. After seeing some posts where others struggled with this setup, I decided to give it a try and document my journey in case it helps someone else.First, I connected the Fibaro module to the Novoport motor using the 20-24V DC supply between the left connector of ‘I’ and the right connector of ‘F’. This was crucial for providing a stable power source. For the control signal, I used the left and right connectors of ‘F’ to trigger the motor. However, I ran into an issue where the Novoport remote wouldn’t work after activating the Fibaro switch. After some research and experimentation, I found a solution using Homey flows. I set up a flow that turns off the Fibaro switch after 5 seconds, which cancels the signal and allows the Novoport remote to function properly again. This setup now allows me to control the garage door via voice commands using Google Assistant, which is integrated with Fibaro. It’s been working flawlessly, and I can even automate it to open for deliveries when I’m away. The integration process was a bit tricky, but the result is definitely worth it!If anyone else is looking to do something similar, I’d be happy to share more details or troubleshoot any issues. Happy automating! ![]()
