Fibaro Button Setup & H6127 Light Strip Review

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share a quick update on my latest home automation project. I’ve been working on setting up a Fibaro button as a “party button” in my living room, and I’m thrilled to say it’s finally up and running! :tada:

The Setup:
I decided to go with the Fibaro button because I wanted something sleek and reliable for my setup. When pressed, it triggers a Spotify playlist on my soundbar and starts a color loop on my Hue lights. The integration with Home Assistant was smoother than I expected, and the response time is almost instantaneous! :notes::sparkles:

A Little Challenge:
One thing I struggled with initially was figuring out the best way to control both the lights and the soundbar simultaneously. After some research, I realized that using custom scripts in Home Assistant was the way to go. Now, everything works seamlessly, and my guests are always impressed when they press the button and see the whole room come to life! :rocket:

Product Recommendation:
I also wanted to mention the H6127 5M RGBIC Strip Light I recently installed. It’s been a game-changer for my lighting setup! The color options are endless, and the strip is super easy to install. Plus, it’s compatible with my existing Zigbee network, which was a huge plus for me. :bulb:

A Question for the Community:
I’m curious to hear how others have handled similar setups. Did you use a different approach for controlling multiple devices with a single button? Also, I’m pondering whether to switch some of my Zigbee devices to Wi-Fi for better range. Any recommendations or experiences to share would be awesome!

Keep the conversation going, and happy automating! :star2:
