Fibaro Dimmer 2 and Shelly 2.5 Integration Tips

Hello everyone! I wanted to share my recent experience integrating the Fibaro Dimmer 2 with my existing dimmer setup. Initially, I was a bit puzzled about how to connect everything properly, but after some research and trial and error, I managed to get it working seamlessly!

Fibaro Dimmer 2 Setup
I had a standard dimmer with Lead (brown), Neutral (blue), and Ground (green) wires. The Fibaro Dimmer 2 installation involved connecting the Fibaro to the dimmer output terminal and ensuring both devices were powered correctly. The key was understanding that the Fibaro and the dimmer needed to share the same power source but function independently. This setup allows me to control the lights through both the Fibaro app and the physical dimmer, which was exactly what I was aiming for!

Shelly 2.5 Sensor Troubleshooting
I also wanted to mention my experience with the Shelly 2.5 sensors. After a recent power outage, one of my Shelly units stopped responding to Alexa commands. The manual switch also stopped working, which was quite frustrating. However, after resetting the device and reconfiguring it through the Shelly app, everything started working again. It’s a good reminder to always check the device status and ensure it’s properly connected to your network.

Govee Product Highlight
On a lighter note, I’ve been absolutely thrilled with my recent purchase of the Govee Hexa Light Panels Ultra. These panels are a game-changer for my gaming setup, offering vibrant RGBIC lighting and seamless integration with my voice controls. The ability to customize the lighting effects through the Govee app has really taken my gaming experience to the next level. If you’re looking to enhance your gaming room decor, I highly recommend giving these panels a try!

Final Thoughts
Integrating smart home devices can sometimes feel overwhelming, but with a bit of patience and research, it’s incredibly rewarding. Whether you’re troubleshooting a dimmer setup, dealing with a temperamental sensor, or simply exploring new product options, the key is to stay curious and keep experimenting. Happy tinkering, everyone! :rocket::bulb:
