Fibaro Dimmer Quirks and Lovelace UI Setup Troubleshooting

Hey everyone, I wanted to share a couple of things I’ve been working on with my smart home setup. First off, I’ve recently installed a Fibaro dimmer 2 in my utility room, and while it works perfectly, there’s this odd quirk with the standard light switch. You have to toggle the switch twice to control the dimmer—on once to turn it on, and off again to turn it off. It’s a bit confusing, but I’ve heard that Fibaro switches usually work as expected. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Is it a wiring issue or just how it’s supposed to work?

On another note, I’ve been trying to set Lovelace as the default UI on my Home Assistant iOS app, version 1.1.1, build 0.84.1. Every time I try to access the settings, it briefly loads the About page and then disappears to a blank screen before I can tap on the option to set Lovelace as the default. It’s frustrating because I really want to customize my interface. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any workarounds or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve also been experimenting with automations and scene creation, and I’d love to hear how others are organizing their setups. Are there any tips or best practices for keeping things streamlined and easy to manage? Let’s keep the conversation going and help each other out!

Thanks for reading, and happy tinkering!
