Fibaro Door Window Sensor V2 Reliability and Troubleshooting

I recently upgraded my home security system with the Fibaro Door Window Sensor V2, hoping to benefit from its advanced features compared to the older V1 model. However, I’ve encountered some reliability issues that have been quite frustrating. The sensors seem to work perfectly for a day or two, but then they suddenly stop registering the open/closed state. This is perplexing because the V1 sensors I have are incredibly stable, regardless of how they’re installed or the battery levels.

I’ve tried various troubleshooting steps, including repositioning the sensors and ensuring they’re installed exactly as the manual suggests. Despite these efforts, the issue persists. It’s worth noting that the sensors still send temperature data, so they’re not completely dead.

I’ve checked the database and confirmed that the sensor is listed there, so it should be compatible with my system. I’m wondering if others have experienced similar issues and if there are any workarounds or solutions that have worked for them.

If you’ve had success with the Fibaro V2 sensors, I’d love to hear about your setup and any tips you might have. Let’s work together to find a reliable solution for this fantastic device!
