Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to get more out of my Fibaro FGMS001 motion sensor, but I’m hitting a bit of a wall. I’ve read through a lot of threads, but I’m still not quite sure how to make the most of the sensor_binary and alarm_general channels. Does anyone have any tips or tricks they’ve used with these settings?
From what I understand, sensor_binary is supposed to control motion detection, and alarm_general is for sending alarm signals through association groups. But in practice, it doesn’t seem like these channels are doing much. I’ve tried adjusting settings and even reached out to support, but I’m still not seeing the results I hoped for.
If anyone has successfully used these features in a meaningful way, I’d love to hear about your setup or any workarounds you’ve discovered. Maybe there’s a combination of settings or a specific configuration that makes these channels more effective.
I’m really curious to see how others are leveraging these features to enhance their smart home setups. Any advice or shared experiences would be incredibly helpful!
