Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Fibaro Motion sensors and how I managed to get them working smoothly across different hubs. I recently switched from a Vera hub to a SmartThings v2 hub, and I noticed some interesting behavior with my Fibaro devices. On Vera, the 2.07 version of the Fibaro Motion Detectors worked perfectly, but the 3.2 (ZW5) models didn’t perform as well. However, on SmartThings, the situation was the opposite—the ZW5 models worked great, but the 2.07 versions were giving me a hard time. I couldn’t even adjust their configuration settings, which was quite frustrating.After spending quite a bit of time searching through forums and documentation, I found that the issue was related to the lack of a proper Device Handler for the 2.07 devices on the SmartThings platform. I came across some helpful suggestions in the community, and eventually, I discovered a workaround that involved using a custom Device Handler. This wasn’t straightforward, but with some trial and error, I managed to get the 2.07 sensors functioning correctly.I thought I’d share my journey in case anyone else is facing similar challenges.
