Fibaro Motion Sensor Tamper Alarm Resolution

I recently encountered an issue with my Fibaro Motion Sensor where the tamper alarm wouldn’t stop. After some research and troubleshooting, I found a solution using Homey. Here’s my experience and how I resolved it:

Initially, the sensor was triggering the tamper alarm, which was quite annoying. I tried resetting the device through the Homey app, but that didn’t help. I then looked into the device settings and discovered that there was an option to disable the tamper alarm. However, it wasn’t straightforward to find.

After some digging, I found a community thread suggesting that you can reset the tamper alarm by holding down the button on the sensor for about 10 seconds. This action clears the alarm and resets the sensor. I tried it, and it worked perfectly!

If anyone else is facing this issue, here’s what you can do:

  1. Locate the tamper button on your Fibaro Motion Sensor.
  2. Press and hold the button for 10-15 seconds until you feel a slight vibration or see a light indication.
  3. Release the button and check if the tamper alarm has been cleared.

This method worked for me, and I hope it helps others who might be experiencing the same problem. If you have any additional tips or solutions, please share them below! :rocket:
