Fibaro RGBW Module Color Control Experience

I recently set up the Fibaro RGBW module for my mood lighting system, and I wanted to share my experience as well as some tips for anyone else working with this device. While the setup process was relatively smooth, I encountered a few quirks with color control that I thought might be helpful to discuss.

Initially, I found that adjusting colors through the Fibaro app and Home Assistant didn’t always produce the results I expected. The color wheel and color picker tools seemed to work independently, which was a bit confusing. After some experimentation, I discovered that calibrating the module through the app first before integrating it into Home Assistant made a significant difference in consistency.

One tip I’d like to share is to ensure that both the Fibaro app and Home Assistant are using the latest firmware versions. This helped stabilize the color transitions and reduced the inconsistency I was experiencing. Additionally, setting up custom scenes within Home Assistant allowed me to create smooth color transitions that complement my overall lighting setup.

If anyone else is working with the Fibaro RGBW module and running into similar issues, I’d recommend checking the firmware versions first and exploring custom scene settings. It’s a powerful device once everything is aligned properly!
