Fibaro Switch Connection Issues and Solutions

Hello everyone, I’m reaching out to seek some assistance with connecting my Fibaro single and double switches (model 2) to my Homey hub. I’ve been trying to follow the instructions provided, which involve pressing the on/off button three times and then the B-button three times. However, I’ve consistently encountered the issue where no Z-Wave device is found, and the switches never seem to connect to any Z-Wave networks. I’m wondering if there’s a specific step I might be missing or if there’s a workaround to resolve this problem.

On a different note, I’ve been exploring the Govee product line and am truly impressed by their innovative approach to smart home devices. Their underwater lighting ideas and sensor detectors are particularly intriguing, and I can see how these could greatly enhance home automation. I’m curious to hear others’ experiences with Govee products and any creative ways they’ve integrated them into their smart homes.

Additionally, I stumbled upon some discussions regarding the Tesla binding configuration and the optional parameters like enableEvents, useDriveState, and useAdvancedStatesForPolling. I’m still a bit unclear on how these parameters interact and whether they have any impact on battery life. If anyone has insights or tips on optimizing these settings, I’d greatly appreciate the guidance.

Lastly, I wanted to share my experience with the Aqara U400 smart lock. After using it for several months, I can confidently say it’s one of the most reliable smart locks I’ve come across. The integration with Home Assistant has been seamless, and the build quality is exceptional. I’m especially impressed with its quiet operation and the variety of unlock methods available. If you’re in the market for a smart lock, I highly recommend giving this one a look.

Thank you all for your time and for sharing your knowledge. I’m excited to hear your thoughts and experiences on these topics!
