Fibaro Wall Plugs Synchronization Issue Solved

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Fibaro Wall Plugs and how I managed to resolve a synchronization issue I was facing. I recently added two new Fibaro Wall Plugs to my Homey setup, and I noticed an interesting problem: when I turned on one plug, the other one would also switch on. It was a bit puzzling at first, but I managed to figure it out!

Initially, I thought there might be a firmware issue or a misconfiguration in the Homey app. I checked the settings on both plugs and ensured they were up to date. After some research, I realized that the problem was due to the plugs being paired too closely together, causing their signals to interfere. To fix this, I adjusted their placement and reset their configurations in the Homey app. Now, they work perfectly without interfering with each other!

If anyone else is experiencing similar issues, here are a few tips:

  • Ensure the plugs are placed at a sufficient distance from each other.
  • Double-check the firmware versions and update if necessary.
  • Reset the plug configurations in your hub’s app to ensure they’re properly recognized.

It’s always a bit frustrating when devices don’t work as expected, but solving the problem was really satisfying! I hope this helps someone else who might be facing the same issue. Happy smart home tinkering! :rocket:
