Fibaro Walli Dimmer Brightness Adjustment Tips
Hello everyone, I wanted to share my experience with adjusting the brightness of the Fibaro Walli Dimmer, especially when integrating it with Homey. I recently added a few devices to my setup, and one of my main goals was to have the lights dim slightly at night for a more comfortable ambience. The Solution
After some trial and error, I found a workaround that works well for my setup. Instead of relying solely on flows, I combined a few settings within Homey to achieve the desired effect. Here’s how I did it:
- Scheduled Dimming: I set up a schedule that automatically dims the lights to my preferred brightness at sunset. This ensures that the lights are already at the correct level when I turn them on manually later in the evening.
- Instant Adjustment: For immediate adjustments, I created a simple flow that changes the brightness without waiting for a transition. This allows me to quickly tweak the lighting if needed.
- Combining Flows: By combining these two approaches, I was able to eliminate the delay issue. The lights now adjust smoothly and promptly, making the experience much more pleasant.
