Hello everyone, I’ve been struggling with some Fibaro Z-Wave dimmer issues lately and wanted to share my experience in case it helps others. I recently installed several Fibaro Dimmer 2 and Roller Shutter 3 devices to replace my old KNX system. The installation went smoothly, and manual control works perfectly. However, I encountered a frustrating problem when trying to control multiple dimmers through flows or scenes.
The issue is that when I trigger a flow involving more than one dimmer, only 1-2 of them respond, and sometimes there’s a significant delay. This inconsistency is quite puzzling, as manual control works without any issues. I’ve tried various troubleshooting steps, including adjusting delays, rebooting the system, and healing the devices. While some adjustments helped temporarily, the problem persists.
After some research, I suspect this might be related to Z-Wave network congestion or timing issues. I’m considering experimenting with different network configurations or updating the firmware to see if that makes a difference. If anyone has encountered similar issues or has advice, I’d greatly appreciate it!
In the meantime, I’ve found that using single-device flows works reliably, so I’m planning to create separate flows for each dimmer as a workaround. It’s not ideal, but it keeps things functional while I investigate further.
